“Process, Fraud, and You” is about educating those who consume olive oil, like myself, about the corrupt business behind the bottle. This process began with me researching olive oil because it’s something that I consume a lot of. I had no prior knowledge or hopes of finding anything particularly astonishing, but came across the topic of adulteration. I wanted to tell this story through visualization in a narrative way. To do this, I communicated the descent of olive oil from production to kitchen, and the various risks and rewards associated with the product in a printed book with original photography.
